We started the Jump Network because we believe women need access to more opportunities. How do you find opportunity? Your network. We are interested in creating our own network, one with a mission to educate and inform women and help them break through the barriers that exist for all of us. This is about women helping women.

We hope you will join us.

The Program:

We are seeking women who have 5+ years experience in their field of work who are passionate about making the world a better place for women. We connect you with a talented woman seeking your advice and you talk to her for 30 minutes. Yes, it's that simple.

The Commitment:

We are currently seeking women who can offer 30 minutes at least once a month for one calendar year.  If you wish to mentor more often, please let us know. After each connection you will fill out a simple survey giving us feedback on your experience.

are you ready to change the world?

We are grateful that our passion for helping women is universal.  The Jump Network is currently in a trial period. If you wish to participate in our pilot program we would love to have you! This trail period will help us define the program and get candid feedback from our users. The network will not officially go live for potentially 6-12 months.  If you have questions in the meantime please feel free to reach us via our contact page or speak with your ambassador directly and they will happily chat with you. You can also peruse the FAQ below for more details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get paid to mentor? Not exactly. We are developing referral programs that reward mentors who recruit other women to join the network as well as rewarding frequent mentors for their enthusiasm to our mission.  As the network progresses more information on these programs will be made available.

What do I gain from joining the Jump Network? We believe that connection is powerful. We wanted to create a way for you to give back that fits with your schedule. Not only do you get to help another woman but you are entered into a club of women doing really really great things. Your participation in the network expands your personal network and gives you access to women who can one day help or advise you. Looking to connect with the other mentors in the network? We've got you covered.

Will I have to email or follow up with the woman in any type of way? We are still in development on how exactly you correspond with your mentee.  However, during our pilot program, your only obligation is to have 30 minutes available on your calendar to have a phone call, a video call or to meet in person.  If you have an interest in helping the woman beyond your committed 30 minutes that is up to you! We encourage additional networking but do not require that from our mentors.

How is The Jump Network different from other career sites and networks like LinkedIn? We aren't just providing a service we are trying to change the culture.  We want women to start coming together to lift each other up.  But, we understand how busy everyone is so creating a complex mentorship program didn't fit our mission.  We all have had 30 minute conversations that changed our lives and we are just hoping to create more of those for women.  We aren't asking you to give your mentee a job and while we love sites that give resume tips and career advice that is not what we are creating.  We are a relationship building platform that allows women to carefully and strategically connect with other women.

What are the women like who will be accessing the network? Our demo is all women from diverse backgrounds and education levels.  We are building our application model now and implementing criteria that will help bring you only the most determined and enthusiastic mentees.  We don't want to waste your time and we will work hard to make sure systems are in place to protect the integrity of the network.
